Write Act Repertory’s Producing Artistic Director John Lant presents the World Premiere Production of PILLARS OF NEW YORK, a celebrated limited engagement, Opening Saturday January 23, 2016, and closing Sunday February 21, 2016.
Los Angeles – PILLARS OF NEW YORK is the story of 4 couples’ struggles in and around the events surrounding the 9-11 tragedy. As the recovery happens, mentally and physically for the couples, therapist and author Jake Kelly evaluates his own personal loss and mortality as he explores others sides to their stories. These stories being the fabric of the true Pillars of New York that make up the tapestry of true human conditions through tragedy and triumph.
This new production will perform in the heart of the NOHO Theatre District opening after the 2016 New Year’s Holiday.
Written by Michael Antin, Directed by Jim Blanchette, Produced by John Lant and Anne Mesa, Musical Direction and Arrangements: Rob Bowers, Costume Design: Ava Soltani-Wiltse, Stage Management and Operations: Alonzo Tavares, Angela Acuna, and Jonathan Harrison.
Starring: Eloise Coopersmith, Michael Cortez, Molly Gilman, Julian Goza, Bobby McGlynn, Wayne Moore, Elizabeth Sekora, Suzan Solomon, Marza Warsinske, and Gary Mortimer.
